The PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor is the step that turns you into a diving instructor: after completing the IDC (Instructor Development Course), you sit the IE (Instructor Examination), an evaluation run by PADI itself, to become a certified instructor able to teach Open Water Diver and other certifications.
It's the most technical stage of the professional path, focused on dive teaching methods, PADI standards and procedures, and managing students at different experience levels.
