The Night Diver specialty shows how the ocean transforms once the sun goes down — many species that hide during the day become active at night, and the experience of diving guided only by your light is completely different from a daytime dive.
Across three night or twilight dives, you practice using lights and light signaling, underwater orientation in the dark, and specific communication techniques with your buddy — all in a controlled environment with close instructor guidance.
